"It's dark alright - it involves human trafficking and teenagers. Does more need to be said about meeting that criteria? Personally, I despise these stories- both the topic and the outcome of young people in power-imbalance relationships finding love and somehow winning. Some parts of it aren't badly written in themselves, but it goes on way too long. Meh overall at best."

"This is a decent review though a bit short. "

"Sempre is a book by JM Darhower and is available from Amazon for $12.00 for a paperback. It is the first book in the Forever series. The story is about Haven Antonelli and Carmin DeMarco who grew up very different but have their worlds collide after a string of events. This is a very popular and well reviewed book on Amazon and is probably worth the read."

"The story told in this book is nothing short of amazing. It tells a truly touching story about a victim of sex trafficking and how she falls in love with the son of the person who victimized her. On top of the romance, there is also nonstop action, and suspense as the main characters deal with the mafia. "

"This book is a different take on the mafia genre with the added flare of romance. It still has all the things that fans of the mafia genre will love with enough added romance to make this story unique and very enjoyable. Smartly written and not at all predictable, a simply great plot. A must read in my opinion!"

"The mafia portrayed in this book wasn't cheesy or cliche like other stories I read. It was raw and real. I could believe this exists today because of the vulnerabilities written about it."

"I just wanted to read a romance novel with a twist and I ended up with this dark tale. So yes, I did not enjoy eat. That doesn’t mean you won’t but please read the details before purchasing the book. Or like me, you will suffer the consequences of wading through a book you never should have purchased."

"I needed the best romantic erotica books out there and ran into Sempre (Forever). It is the first book of the Forever series from J.M. Darhower and centers on Haven Antonelli and Carmin DeMarco who come from completely different childhoods but still find their way to intersect life stories."

After a failed escape attempt she is taken to a mafia lords house where she meets and falls in love with his son, Carmine. As the pages turn you will find yourself falling in love with this most unexpected love story. This is one mafia story of two people from two background and falling in love that will have your heart."

"I can't stand the boyfriend in this book. Let your girlfriend breathe! But it's a great book, very complicated themes going on here. Definitely recommend."

"I think that the underlying subject of this novel - human trafficing is a bit too much for young adults. That being said, this is a griping read. The novel is well written. "
