- "I have a friend that loves to read crime and murder novels. I got her Serial Killers: The Method and Madness of Monsters as a present one year as I thought she might find some value in it. She read a bit of the book though and said that the material was really dry though interesting."
- "I'm a huge fan of serial killer genre of televison shows. I have now decided to delve into the world of psychopatic non-fiction. I started with this book and it was a fantastic choice. It was exceptionally informative, research based and included superbly choosen examples. It's an easy to read format that is split into three sections. All the sections are thorough and interesting. If you're looking for a book on serial killers, this is it."

in What are the best crime books"If you like true crime books, then this is a must read. The author covers the psychopathology of serial killers, and then covers some of the most controversial of all time. The author is very talented, covering everything in a true teaching form, and yet it reads almost like fiction. Very enjoyable and engaging. "
- "I prefer non-fiction crime stories to fiction crime stories and this one is very intense. It follows the sick and twisted path of some the best known serial killers in history. There are parts that can be tough to get through because of the nature of the individuals. But if you want to get into the mind of these monsters, be forewarned that this book takes you there."
