"Book was recommended for young teens and to that I say absolutely not. I was shocked at the material in this book when I picked it up for my son. I ended up returning it due to the material it had. What kind of weirdo recommends this for kids?"

"Shadow Over Babylon is a good young adult read. A very interesting, complex novel that incorporates historical relevancy, but in the overall historical fiction novel category, I think it ranks just under the best but maybe it'll get there in time."

"This is a really good spy thriller, along the lines of Tom Clancy if you are a fan of his work. Not really interesting for a teen boy as they are usually into the newest and latest technology, as this book highlights the technologies of the past era. Still a really good read."

"Shadow Over Babylon is definitely one of the best books for teen boys. I bought it for my son's birthday and wanted to make sure that I approved the subject matter. I was delighted by how much I enjoyed it! Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres and this book had a lot that kept me engaged. My son loved it too!"

"I promise that 'Shadow over Babylonis' will grab your attention from the beginning and never let go. This harrowing and exciting tale explores American intelligence agents in Iraq in the 90s and their gripping plot to dispose of Hussein by any means necessary. The author really seems to understand how the agents really think and act--there's lots of technical detail that really brings the story to life. Never read anything like it!"
