"This books talks about a lot of issues a young female Christian might go through or ponder about. Despite the fact that it was originally published back in the late 1800s, the contents are still surprisingly relevant as of today. I would highly recommend this book for any young, teenaged Christian girl growing up in our day and age."

"This book is such a classic. I would recommend this book to any woman who wants to be encouraged by a wonderful Godly story. It has the ups and down of love and the embrace of God all throughout. I think a woman of any age would love this book."

"Recently I've been really into reading Christian fiction. I came across Elizabeth Payson Prentiss. I picked up Stepping Heavenward and I feel this is one of the best Lamplighter Publishing books out there. It was published in 1880 but the story of a woman's journey to godliness really touched me. I felt really connected to this book and I feel it's a piece of work that other's should give a chance too."

"Stepping Heavenward is written by E. Prentiss is a novel that is written like a journal and it follows Katy Mortimer from the time she turns 16. This is a lovely classic book that withstands the test of time."

"I occasionally enjoy checking out the delusional opinions of contemporary religious fanatics. This one is a dandy! A pompous, self righteous presentation meant to inspire and convert, or maybe just to sell books to the depressed. "

"Meh, not my cup of tea. Its ok from a historical aspect but doesnt really hold much relevance today. Worthwhile historically, but thats about it."

"Very good mass market paper back quality. The pages were easy to read. The only thing I do not like is the price but the overall reading experience was very good. I even wet the book and it was not damaged. Would buy again!"
