"The Bhagvad Gita was a great Indian mythological book. I was encapsulated by its variety and thought it really showcased a wide variety of naturalism. I was enthralled with what I had seen."

"The Bhagavad Gita is one of the best books written in the ancient world, it is about love, light, life, and the spiritual journey of the soul"

"I enjoyed this classic book about enlightenment, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to dive into Indian culture and beliefs. I'm not familiar with other translations of this book (I know it wasn't originally in English) but everything I read resonated with me, so whoever translated it did a great job."

"fits topic but probably not the best"
  • Stephen Elliott

"I'm not sure this book is recommended by Joseph Campbell. I would have liked more information to indicate that."

"Because of my Viking heritage, I've always been fond of meandering, long poems. The Bhagavad Gita doesn't disappoint. Though it lacks much of the bloodshed and rainbow bridges I tend to enjoy, it's got enough sex and mysticism to keep me interested, especially when I'm blasted out of my mind!"

"Originality retained and does not seem to be biased. Free book. Everyone should read this book and take advantage of Bhagavad Gita to improve their lives. Father of Indian nation M.K. Gandhi cites this book as his pick among the many books he has read on Bhagavad Gita."

"Very nicely reviewed novel with religious overtones. I'm not sure that our Western Christian populace would quite agree, however."
