What the community says about The Boleyn Inheritance (The Plantagenet and Tudor Novels)
- "It's rare to be able to enjoy historical fictions with how serious and bland the narration usually becomes. I've experienced differently reading this book though, as it only made me turn page after page continuously without noticing time pass by at all. The scenes are all written beautifully and in vivid detail that I can picture them clearly in my head and everything feels real. "
- "I think Philippa Gregory did a wonderful job capturing the spirit of Anne of Cleves in this work. While the book is mutli-POV, I found Anne the most interesting character. And while she was painted as a villain (or, at least, an antagonist) in The Other Boleyn Girl, now we get to hear Jane Rochford-Boleyn's side of the story, and she became a much more sympathetic character.""Found the solution somewhat lacking and not very informative. It is another in the long line of Tudor stories. It might be great for fans of the period but most would not be interested in it. I would suggest it for people who want to read about the Boleyns but it is not for everyone.""The Boleyn Inheritance (The Plantagenet and Tudor Novels) audio-book is narrated by Davina Porter. This period novel is from the same series as The Other Boleyn Girl and is an excellent Audio-book to have. It will make you want to get other works in the series."
- "This may be one of my new favorite books. I love the era it is written in and how it was written. Very enjoyable.""Kind of boring to me. It took awhile to get through it. Maybe you will like it better."
- "I can’t get enough of the Boleyn family drama. If you enjoyed any of the other stories about this family, you should pick up this book. It is full of intricate details of the lives of the Boleyn women. It’s funny how similar a lot of themes are to what is happening in modern society. This series will not disappoint and you will soon find yourself thinking about what you would do if you were alive then."
