"I'm all for cheesy erotica, but I found this a little too cheesy. A friend recommended it to me when my partner and I were living apart briefly for work. It did it's purpose, I guess, but I cringed far too often, which takes you out of the mood. "

"This is one of the sexiest books I have ever read. Alina Reyes's language is poetic and erotic at the same time. An excellent, sensual read."

"I had some fun reading The Butcher. The book explores the desires of a French woman and her local butcher. There are several erotic moments in the book that helped keep my interest. If your looking for something on the sensual side there are worse books you could be reading."

"This isn't really my genre, so keep that in my mind regarding my opinion. I don't know if I would say it's the best erotic book but I guess it's a decent one, if you like that sort of thing."

"This is one of the sexiest books I have ever read. Alina Reyes's language is poetic and erotic at the same time. This isn't your typical romance novel in which the plot is pretty much out on the open; you have to actually read between the lines and figure out what the scene symbolizes. I love the story of a French woman whose innocence is lost during college vacation. She worked at a deli, and the butcher whispered in obscene detail what he would like to do with her. Despite having fallen in love with a male classmate, the young woman is drawn to the butcher. This is a great read. With sensuous scenes, beautiful language and poetic undertones, The Butcher is one of the most profound pieces of fiction I have ever read."

"I'm reminded of Terry McGuiness telling Bruce Wayne that the new musical about Batman was "Schway," and Bruce replied "Schwarbage." I couldn't agree more, as that's what it felt like, reading this book: trudging through schwarbage. "

"This book wasn't as good as i was expecting. I was practically falling asleep during some points. When I finished it, i was kind of annoyed by the lack of strings tied by the end of the book."
