"The Corpse Wore Pasties is the 62nd issue of the Hard Case Crime series. This one tells the story of the mysterious death of a burlesque dancer...and it is one of my favorites! "

"I have read almost all of the Hard Case Crime books. I have to say this is definitely not one of my favorites. I was skeptical to start out with due to the title of the book, but I tried to look past it. It turns out that was a mistake. The title pretty much lets you know what you are in for, over the top trash even for a hard crime novel. I would recommend picking up another book from the series. "

"Good looking cover, for adults only. Interesting stories inside. I like the author, has good reviews. Price is acceptable. "

"It was a delightful read, a lighter fare from most Hard Case Crime titles, but it was a juicy mystery nonetheless."

"I read a lot of crime novels and, somewhat reluctantly, picked up The Corpse Wore Pasties recently. I was right to be turned off by the title. I found it a bit boring and had to make an effort to push through until the end. "

"I thought this was cheesy and predictable which is not at all what I want in a crime book. The characters are interesting I suppose, and the cover makes it look like a racy romance novel. Its actually not racy, but the cover is misleading. Overall, I suppose its okay if you have absolutely nothing else to read. Otherwise, there are hundreds of better choices available. "
