"When I was in high school, my English teacher required us to read this book for our book report. This fictional mystery is a page-turner because as a reader, it makes me curious what's gonna happen next. The author narrated a good investigation story about King Richard III's alleged involvement with crimes."

"This novel is gripping and engrossing with its intriguing characters, enigmatic plot, and sublime descriptions of the atmosphere and settings. The main character, Inspector Alan Grant of Scotland Yard, has recently broken his leg and is having trouble spending his free time recovering. With his mind free to wander, he quickly becomes fascinated with the murder case of King Richard III and from the story unravels."

"This may be my favorite mystery of all time. There are no car chases, no gun battles and no amateur detective solving murders. This is a meticulous detective trying to solve a centuries old mystery using brains and research. I gave a copy to a friend and she made it required reading in her AP history classes. It also sparked a life long interest in Richard III for me. A must read for history and mystery buffs"

"If you like history then this book is a must read. This is a super interesting read about a detective who becomes engrossed in learning the truth about King Richard III and the murder of his two nephews in the 15th century. Definitely one of the best crime/mystery books i've ever read."

"This is part of a very highly rated book in a highly rated Inspector Alan Grant Series. This would be a great place to begin if one were looking for mystery series, but this specific book is the last in the series."

"I think it's been said before but The Daughter of Time is really one of the best mystery books ever written. It doesn't try to be too true to the historical record but it has enough truth to be relevant to history buffs."
