"This is a bizarre book that really gives you a slice of life from someone actively traveling around and participating in the 60's hippie culture. To be able to drop a ton of acid yet still write a cohesive book that speaks to the politics and chaos of the times is impressive. Usually books like these are written "about" people, and not "by" people."

"I have always been infactuated with 1960's culture. I wish I could have lived through it. This is an incredible story of how acid changed the generation and led to so many great ideas. What a great and informative book."

"The book cover is very attention grabbing and the topic seems interesting and worth the price. However it was difficult to find details of what the book is about and only gives less than a sentence description. "

"The Electric Kool Aid test was every bit as gripping as it's title was eye catching. The subject matter is fascinating and the book paints a picture so vivid, that you practically feel like you're being transported into the era it explores. Decades after the book was published, the picture it paints still resonates til this day. "

"So I really can't comment on this as I don't even know what Gilmore Girls is. I have only read a little bit of this book and I really didn't get it. To say that it is the best of something would be hard for me as I am not a fan of it in general. "

"What an interesting book about the hippy generation. My parents have told me so many stories about their Woodstock generation and their friends who did acid that I really enjoyed reading Tom Wolfe's book because it gave me that insight into the times. "
