"The best is sort of hard to determine. I must say that this is a good idea for a Pulitzer Prize-winning book . Needs some work on the modern medicine but I can see the potential in this one!"
  • Rose Harper

"I was on my last year being a medical student when I read this book cover to cover. I highly recommend this to those undergoing chemotherapy, health research and any history of cancer. It mainly focuses on how to cure a patient and how to be hopeful. "

"I was looking for a book about cancer for a research project, and this fit the bill and then some. Clear, understandable, and giving a history of cancer, it enabled me to write with confidence and get a good grade on my research project. "
  • Michael Vasquez

"this is a book that will warm your heart and make you cry "
  • Terry Bryant

"I have never heard of this book before. However, as an ardent fan of biographies, this is incredibly interesting. However, for the idea of "best non-fiction books for college-bound readers," this doesn't seem to fit the bill. This is only because it's very niche. I would heavily suggest this be a read for incoming med students and anthropologists, but not necessarily outside of that."
  • Mildred Henry

"A very well documented book. The topic is one that is the biggest plagues of the 21st century. The book's construction does this daunting topic justice. "
