"Writing isn't the best for a gay romance type novel but I definitely enjoyed it. The comedic approach to this topic is what kept me interested. Every other romance is serious and has the same plot. This one strayed from the usual path and I think it did that rather well."

"The humor in this book is great. I love it when they combine romance with humor! I was laughing, crying and entertained. "

"I am currently working on a project, and I need to find a good romance book that is available on in both Kindle and Audiobook versions. My goal is to compare how romance differs for the consumer when it is heard vs. when it is read. I was really hoping to use The Epic Love Story of Doug and Stephen, but I can't seem to find an audio version of the book. I am disappointed."

"I'm not gay, but fully support people's right to love whoever they want. This book was heartwarming, funny, and really touching to read the struggles they face. "

"The Epic Love Story of Doug and Stephen is one of my all time favorite romance novels. I find that alot of gay romance books can be very predictable and cliche, but The Epic Love Story of Doug and Stephen was adorable, original, and a very well written romance."

"Very good. I enjoyed it more than I expected."

"Even if you are as cantankerous and I, you can laugh at this! I look at this as a great way to jump out of your normal reading, laugh and sort of reset. I watch a lot of depressing documentaries and read non-fiction usually so this is the perfect departure."

    "This is nice."
