"Not only is this book beautifully well written, it's also incredibly easy to follow along with. I would suggest this if you're wanting to learn more about the resurrection of Jesus because it's incredibly informative and you'll come out of it learning something new."

"Some people might be offended by this book but I found it pretty intriguing. The whole idea of someone being tricked into thinking they are a god is both hilarious and thought provoking. "

"This book is not a good suggestion for best Christian books for beginners. It is a fictional novel that is anti-Christian."
  • Mark Walters

"This was a very different take on the life of Jesus. I didn't put much into the whole concept but it was a fun read because it was such a strange story. "

"Kind of strange retelling of Jesus' story. Seem a bit sacrilegious, but not horrible."

"Atheists do not believe in gods or an afterlife, while this book is based on something called "The Rauschmonstrum" and its desire to start a religion. It uses the story of Jesus to depict a forlorn religious leader. This book may be more accurately categorized as "best blasphemous book" or "best tale of religious deceit" or something other than "best book about Atheism". This book isn't about Atheism at all. It is highly doubtful that any Atheist would be even faintly interested in reading it."

"This is the book for you for understanding the Bible. I've had many friends come to me looking for information about the Bible and I also point them towards this one to get a full grasp on the stories."

"Despite the fact that this has no factual basis, it was still fascinating. It really made me think about the fact that we don't actually know anything about what really happened with Jesus. We've based hundreds of religions on a story that could be made up! "

"The Gospel of the Rauschmonstrum, written by Nick La Torre, retells the Gospel stories concerning Jesus' being tricked into thinking he is the son of god. This religiously themed fiction is sure to engage one's curiosity. Truly a novel spin on religious stories."

"This is a pretty quirky book. I don't know what I was getting into when I started it. It was kind of funny and interesting but it just isn't my thing. "
