What the community says about The Great Divorce
- "I first read this book as part of our church's book club series. I found it rather difficult to understand at times, even with the interpretations of other members in the book club. Sometimes is seems fantastical, other times it reads like a theology book. I found the creativity of what Heaven and Hell is like, to be refreshing, yet caused more curiosity than traditional perceptions of Heaven and Hell (right and wrong)."

in What are the best C.S Lewis books"I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. I got it after reading one of the Narnia books and finished it off in an afternoon, but I think the lessons I learned from it will stick with me for much longer. It makes me want to explore Christianity a little further... and as a lifelong agnostic, this was probably the greatest surprise of all."
