"This is a frightening but fascinating read of true crime. It really takes you into the mind and actions of a serial killer and how they came to be. Chilling descriptions drew me in immediately and I was so involved I found myself gasping along the way. I really love all the factual information the author gives to flesh our what really happened."

"It took me just under 3 days to finish this once I started it. I blew through it cover to cover. Something about crime novels always hooks me. This one had me drawn in after just a few pages. Following the killer's activities and investigation kept me really interested."

"It took me some time to get through this book because it was pretty graphic and disturbing in so many ways. The horrible path of destruction of the serial killer is laid out and goes to the darkest places imaginable. It makes for a hard read because you feel so bad about what this monster put his victims through. This is definitely not a book for everyone."

"I read this book after watching scary movies one weekend. I decided I wanted to read about a killer that wasn't fake and in the movies, but real instead. This book about Randall Woodfield was chilling. The scariest part is that he did his killings up I-5 right by where I live! The book was detailed without being too gory. I really liked it. Very informative and pretty chilling."

"LOVE Ann Rule! I had already watched a couple of crime documentaries and made-for-t.v. movies about the I-5 killer, but really enjoyed ready the book. You always seem to learn more when a story is written rather than on film. Really good read! "
