"This book is sad and funny at the same time. The characters are captivating and the complexity of the main character is intriguing."
  • Brittany Estrada

"If you are looking for a nonfiction book on polygamist cults then this book is not for you, as this is fiction. However, the author probably got inspiration from somewhere, right? So I'm sure some of the themes in this fiction novel relate to real life cults. "

"This book wasn't as raunchy as I thought it would be considering the subject material. But, the story ended up being really fascinating. "

"With a name like "The Lonely Polygamist," you know its gotta be good. And for the most part, it is. The solution definitely fits the topic, though whether or not it makes much sense is up to you. Who cares that much what the authors last name is? Tell me more about the polygamy! "

"This is an interesting take on families in general and not really about polygamy as the title would indicate. It reminded me a lot of my girlfriend's former in-laws as well as my own, both of whom are more interested in maintaining illusions instead of dealing with their own realities. In this aspect it's also a bit sad, because I think this goes on in many families... probably unspoken."

"How can you be lonely with multiple wives. Book makes no sense and didn't finish it."
