"If you like avatar you should really avoid this book like the plague. It's so bad and doesn't stay true to any of the canon!"

"This book is is part of series called Avatar: the Last Airbender. It is well written and even illustrated by an artist called Patrick Spaziante, giving you a very realistic look into the author's imagination."

"Not so much a book as it is a compendium of facts about the animated show Avatar. The book has no story, but if you are already a fan of the world, it supplements it nicely, with more background information revolving around the characters, their abilities, and the politics of the world."

"This book fills in a bunch of details and history that even I found intriguing to read. But my 13 year old was totally enthralled. Nice to see his interests steered away from more "adult" themes for a bit anyway. There is enough material in this series to keep him busy for a while!"

"I didn’t find this story especially impressive, but it’s definitely more Avatar. For rabid fans who can’t get enough of the world or the characters, this is a must-buy; it’s good, it’s more of the stuff you want, you won’t be disappointed. Carries a lot of “nerd material” about the background of the world and its characters that you can’t get in the show, but is super handy if you’re looking to nerd out. (I enjoyed reading it, I know a lot of other hardcore fans will too.) Solid 3.5 stars, as long as you know you’re shelling out for more of the same. "

"this is a good series that shows what can happen and how people can change and develop overtime in a cartoon series."

"Really cruddy. Low effort art, really feels like a piece of lazy merchandise rather than an actual book."

"I love the Avatar series and The Lost Scrolls: Water (Avatar) was no exception. The story is compelling and the illistrations are fantastic. I hope Teitelbaum writes more of these for many years to come. I've even started sharing them with my son who also loves them."
