What the community says about The Nudists
- "This is a decent book and semi erotic. To me this title doesn’t belong in the erotic cate at all. In this story the erotica plays 2nd or 3rd fiddle. Not saying that’s a bad thing just doesn’t fit our category here."

in What are the best erotica by men"The title is sort of corny and the number of reviews for this book isn't very reassuring. The book is really cheap so I thought why not and decided to buy it. It arrived in four days and I gave it a read at night. I gotta say, the book is pretty bad and has very boring characters. At least I didn't spend a lot of money on this book so I don't really regret it.""Guy Bellamy is usually a funny writer, but in this case the laughs were unintentional. The characters were so comically unlikable that I found it hard to care when he started killing them off. Seek out The Secret Lemonade Drinker if you haven't read it, it's his first novel and by far his best."

in What are the best erotic books"If you're looking for a titillating store that permeates eroticism, this probably isn't the choice for you; however, there is much to recommend this book in spite of that. The witticisms, the colorful characters, and the tragic elements of this book coalesce in a very satisfying way and make for an enjoyable read overall. I found some of the book to be a bit fluffy, especially by the time that I reached the conclusion, but all in all, it was an enjoyable ride."

- "The Nudists is a great adult fiction novel written and published for the first time over 30 years ago. In The Nudists, three parties find themselves together on a vacation to remember and their crossed destinies become further entwined, for better, for worse, both richer and poorer. I read this book 30 years ago and enjoyed it a great deal. "
