"I love to eat, and love to read good books about food and eating. Both of thse facts brought me to The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan. I've had this book recommended to me so many times that finally I broke down and bought myself a copy. I have to say that I enjoyed Pollan's storytelling style and plain manner of expressing things even more than I expected. And thanks to Pollan's book, I don't think I'll ever be able to eat a Chicken McNugget again. "
"The Omnivore's Dilemma is a great cooking book. I made the tastiest meals with this book."
"The Omnivore's Dilemma is a somewhat interesting overview of some of the ethical and moral quandaries facing those who choose to consume the flesh of animals. The book suffers from failing to adequately address the largest dilemma of them all: why humans continue to breed and murder animals for consumption in the presence of more plentiful, less environmentally destructive, healthier alternatives."
"I am a foodie truly, and this offers such a scientific and logical view on food. If you want to learn more about what keeps you living, you should really pick this up."
"is a remarkable clearheaded idea i like it "
