"I'm not a fan of historical fiction, and this book only makes me remember why I don't particularly like that genre. In few words, this book is dull. The topic of the Salem Trials was appealing to me, and interesting to a certain degree, but the characters are such a bland set that it was dreadful to read about them. The main character is so dumb I'm surprised she is suppoused to have a degree. There are so many unnecesary descriptions that slow down the pace and add nothing to the story. I don't recommend this. "The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane is a historical contemporary romance fiction written by Katherine Howe. The book's author uses the Salem Witch Trials to tell a story of the legacy of cunning women in history, interweaving historical fact with modern fiction."

"When looking for some of the best Salem Witch Trials books available, one of the key factors that we have to look for is historical accuracy. While "The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane" is a gripping tale that seems plopped down in the target setting, it doesn't really focus on the issue at hand, rather focusing on a fictional romance. While it's a decent read, I feel that there are many other books that fit the bill and have a more streamlined focus."

"Although I'm not a fan of romance stories, I do like witches and potentially supernatural events. My girlfriend lent me this book one night and told me to check it out and so I did. Personally, I found it to be a little slow in the beginning, but pace somewhat increased near the middle just when the good parts were starting to happen. I didn't really care about the romance aspect of this book but the main character was really interesting. If you like stories with witches and a dash of romance, I guess this will pass and you can try it out."

"Im not sure this book meets my expectations of what is considered Gothic. I would have rather seen something about Gothic architecture to be honest i do not consider witchcraft to be gothic so due to this i have to say terrible solution."

"Young adult books are key to encourage people to read in their early years. Katherine Howe can do just that with an interesting approach to witchcraft fiction."
