"This book is good because it's so easy going. It's not incredibly deep with tons of foreshadowing. It doesn't have complex characters that betray each other. It simply is what it is, a nice fiction/romance book that you can read and have fun with."

"I read this teen love story and it is ok. It is a mix of Twilight and Harlequin Romance novels. It's a boring page turner. "

"After hearing one of my favorite vlogger girls I love watching rave about this book i had to see for myself. It certainly lives up to my expectations. If your into fairytales , princess and the like as much as i am this book is for you. I seriously couldnt put it down. Instead of binging a netflix show i binge read this. SO GOOD."

"I feel this book would be really boring for me. It has a very generic story line from thousands of books"

"Have you ever just wanted a book to just be. Not have you think. Not have deep meaning or be erotic. Not be a retold story or complicated. Just be fun, easy going, Light and fluffy. The Potion diaries was that for me. Just a book to let my brain rest and enjoy. there is no hidden meaning or reason for things. No hidden meanings. Characters aren’t perfect and they definitely do irritate at times but this is expected heck they are kids and don’t always make the best decisions or act as we want them to. But that is okay because you take it in stride with the activity of the book. The only part I don’t understand is why Sam’s POV is first person but Evelyn’s is third person."

But that is okay because you take it in stride with the activity of the book. The only part I don’t understand is why Sam’s POV is first person but Evelyn’s is third person. So what it the gist of the book? Evelyn, the princess, needs to find love. She and Zain think to come together so Evelyn can be with her BFF. So to get Zain to be besotted she makes a love potion only it backfires. Her vanity after that is a hoot but it puts her in danger and now the hunt has begun. All the alchemists are chosen and off to find the cure. We get unicorns and dangerous weather. Creatures that look like a snow Yeti, deception and a romance bud up. Zain is the son of the synthetic potions master and owner of Aster Pharmaceuticals. He is off to help his friend but he has a healthy respect and likes Sam. What I like about Zain is he is nice and sweet. He knows where he doesn’t fit but tries for his dad. He also is lost in who he wants to be when he grows up. He is your typical teenager trying to figure out life. He also likes Sam and does try to help her as well"

"This book was a fun young adult romance. It was a nice read that was simple and didn't require overthinking of details or explaining of the plot. The book isn't deep but that's what makes it so great. I think the book is perfect for the genre and hits its target audience nicely."

"The Potion Diaries is a book by Amy Alward that tells the story of a princess who accidentally drank the love potion that should be for her crush. The book is also published under the title of Madly in the US and Canada. The story presented is rather predictable and unappealing."
