What the community says about The Ruby Brooch (The Celtic Brooch Series)
- "This is a very good romance story about time travel, It is really interesting but I can't say that I enjoy the sex scenes. They are far too long and detailed. I don't really need a play by play of the whole ordeal. Other than that the story is well told and really held my interest. "
- "The main character of this book, Kit, is a paramedic. Honestly, I think it's a little over the top the way the author made Kit perfect. On top of being an excellent paramedic, she was so good at so many things that it wasn't at all realistic. Still loved the book though."
- "Another Outlander clone, this one really ludicrous, with a heroine who is so perfectly perfect and extraordinarily sexy that you hate her the minute she appears in the story. Everything is spread thickly and there is not one thing that goes untold - every little detail has to be spelled out numerous times so that even someone who is reading in their sleep will understand that our heroine is really the best, and will have the best adventures and the best lovers with the best endurance. I love time traveling novels and I totally wanted to like this one but it so feels like one of those old Harlequin pulp novels, only barely pretending to be a a time travel novel that it rubbed me the wrong way. All I got from that lousy half read book was a few hours of grumpiness and eye-rolling. Not for the faint of heart."
