"This is a very long book detailing over 1000 pages. It goes through how the financial system was created and the creation of wealth was developed."
  • Raymond Franklin

"I'll be honest, this isn't an easy read. But it's surprising how many economic ideas still carry over even two centuries later. I would recommend it to someone who works with money for a living."
  • Kevin Harrison

"The Wealth of Nations is an important philosophical and economics book of the American Revolution, but you can't deny it's a dry read. The language should be updated and the length could be cut down considerably. Unless you're majoring in something that requires this book, I think it's just as good to read a wikipedia article on the subject that not only summarizes the ideas of the publication, but also uses words more easily understadable for today's audience."

"This book can be daunting just because of the sheer size of it. However, look beyond that if you want to read a book that has anything and everything you want to know about economics. This book truly does have it all, and I am encouraging all three of my children to read it so they can make the best decisions moving forward."

"As somebody who loves history, I love reading novels that have changed the world and influenced many. One of these such books is The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith. Often seen as the foundation of economic analysis, our democracy and our capitalistic system was written and created within the pages of this wonder, classic piece of economic thesis. I learned very much from this book. "
