What the community says about Throw Like a Girl
- "I bought Throw Like A Girl for my daughter, and I'm glad I did. She's been feeling inadequate, because of how much of a boy's club sports at school still are. After she read Jennie's story, she seems to have gotten a lot more of the confidence she used to have back, and even asked her old man to play some catch with her again."
- "My daughter was a softball player and Jennie Finch was her hero so this was a no brainer for me to read. The book is well written and easy to read. Also, there are great motivations that my daughter and I talked about that really moved her. We both got a lot out of this book!"
- "I think being a male is the only reason this isn't a 5/5. Somethings failed to connect with me, but the overall point stuck. That being said I won't deny what I learned from it, or what I took away from the read. So with that being said, it's a high quality book I'd recommend anyone take a look at."

in What are the best books for teens"A very good book that inspires women. It is a biography which generally are boring. This was not at all boring and was a interesting look at the life of an athlete. Sports can improve anyone's outlook on life it is a great teacher. This was geared toward young women and it fit the bill nicely. I read it and so has my daughter she liked it as well."
