"This is my first manga book that I've read and was pleasantly surprised. However it did take a little getting use to. The book starts from the back and goes toward the front and reads right to left. I was expecting a comic book but it's actually the size of a small paperback book. The pages are beautifully depicted but are in black and white."

"Vampire Knight is a shoujo manga, meaning it was meant for young girls to read. The reason for this is that the main character is usually female and those around her are usually pretty boys that she is interested in. That aside, there are both day and night classes at the school she goes to and the night class consists of all vampires. I guess if your daughter liked Twilight, they might enjoy this."

"This one was pretty old. Over ten years at this point. It holds up okay enough, though. It definitely made me want to read more in the series."

" I know very little about manga, but it is something I have been curious about for long time. I picked up this book and was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. It has all of the classic elements to make up a good story…teenage angst, romance, and vampires of course. If this is what all magna books are like I think I may have found a new hobby for myself. These books read like you are watching them on a screen, but come in good old-fashioned paper you can hold in your hand"
