"Venom is a 26 issue series by Rick Remender and various artists. Eugene "Flash" Thompson is a wheelchair bound veteran soldier idolising Spider-man. When project Rebirth gives him the chance to be a hero again Flash must face his mistakes and his personal demons in order to control the alien suit he has been bonded to. This series is brave enough to deal with dark end deep issues such as alcoholism, domestic abuse, disability, self doubt and more. But in the end it is something that the great Stan Lee would have written himself, or at least it prominantly caries his preachings of everyone being able to be a hero no matter the struggles they go through."
