"This is a great book for children, a true Disney classic. It is also a Little Golden book so that fits the category well. However, I am not aware of this being part of any specific book series, so in that respect it may not be the perfect choice. I think it is still a very beautiful and fun story, with lots for children to learn and enjoy."

"This is one of the most charming, and enduring, characters and stories in the Disney library. If you loved the Sorcerer's Apprentice in Fantasia, you'll love this Golden Book. Or, if you've never seen Fantasia, this is a wonderful way to get to know the story. Mickey is adorable!"

"The Sorcer's Apprentice is the book retelling of Fantasia's famous mickey mouse cartoon segment with the buckets and chores. In true little golden book fashion it's really well done and entertaining. You won't mind reading it to your kids and they will love having it read to them."

"My three year old loves this book. I find it entertaining myself. Mickey uses his magic to make his chores a lot easier, good book."

"I think that a 9 year old might like this book, I can't really remember my thoughts of it at that age but I did enjoy the movie. "

"This was a good addition to our book collection and I consider it a classic. Both of my children liked the book and it was just as I remembered reading it when I was little, full of fantasy and imaginative illustrations."

"You may remember The Sorcerer's Apprentice as the early silent Disney film. The adaptation to a children's book is only partly a success, since the original story didn't have any words to begin with. The story is well told but I wouldn't put it in the top list of children's books. "

"When it comes to children books you can never go wrong with anything Walt Disney, and this definitely holds true with the Sorcerer's Apprentice. The book is great for kids and people of all ages as it shows Micky and his use of magic for rather menial things."
