"This is a great solution to the topic. It fits the category of a non-fiction picture book perfectly, and also offers something of educational value for young children. It is both well illustrated, and well written and also tells a story that children will enjoy learning about."

"What a great inspirational story! From not being able to walk from having polio to going all the way to the Olympics it's a great reminder that we can do anything if we put our minds to it. I love how strong she is and her desire to never give up. "

"A very nice, educational biography with great illustrations that will grab and hold your child's attention. The some of the vocabulary did challenge my 7 year old but she made it through without getting frustrated. I am very happy about this purchase!"

"I want my children to think beyond fantasy and unicorns...not that they don't have their place, we read books with them as well, but I want them to know they can BE anyone they want. I bought Wilma unlimited because its a true story of the worlds fastest female runner. Wilma Rudolph, was born in a home with 23 children. It is amazing to me that this woman had overcome not only polio, but also all the childhood diseases we now have vaccines for. She often had double pneumonia too. Many doctors would not even treat her because of her color. This is a story that many of us should learn because if we do, we can do and become anything we want. She faced every challenge and never gave up"
