"This is a great option for a home computer. Apple is regarded as a really great and easy to use computer manufacturer and they have many great options available for easy home computer use."

"My boss was replaced, and she's a huge Apple fan. Sure enough, a few weeks later we're all being told to move over to Apple computers. Dear God I hate this thing. The selling point seems to be the super huge screen, but that's it. Slow, no programs, no support, no hard drive space, no great graphics for that screen, no nothing. I don't understand Apple, or Apple people. It's overpriced crap for people who don't know any better, and want slick that does nothing instead of something you have to invest just five minutes in understanding that can do everything. I'm quitting very soon."

"I put this iMac into service February, 2018. Even though it was refurbished, it seemed to be in new condition. Everything works and it is much faster than other Macs I have (due to Quad core). The screen is bright and sharp. The Magic Mouse is great. I wish the keyboard had a ten key number pad. I've been back with Mac since 2004 after living in the PC world for almost 20 years. Neither world is perfect, but I enjoy the integration of the Apple eco-system and use it to the fullest with iPhone, iPads, and AppleTV's. The way that family works together is without parallel in the PC world."

"I recently became a photographer and needed a desktop that would keep up with my niece.  I like this Apple iMac MK142LL/A because it is very versatile and I can edit my photos but it's also very reasonable as far as price goes. While it is a discontinued desktop it's still very sleek and stylish and looks great in my living room on my desk. I feel like one reason why this desktop is so inexpensive is because it does not include a CD burner.  That would be my only con about this desktop."

"Although this iMac is fairly old, the initial specs built in to it are very good even today. Unfortunately, the price still hasn't come down much. It's a good choice though."
