What the community says about Audioengine P4B
- "I needed some smaller types of speakers to put on the bookshelf for when I am closing down at my job as a librarian. We can listen to the music and stuff after hours. So I got these ones called the audioengine p4b and they rock the whole library. Its a good thing I don't forget to turn them off for the next day!"
- "These are definitely a pair of speakers that try to be the wrong solution for a problem they don't understand. I've been trying to figure out what they'd be used for ... maybe a video editor or someone who records audiobooks I guess? Because they don't sound great when I play music from my PC, and they sound worse when I try to game with them. And they don't match my computer desk at all. Everything that comes out of them is either kind of washed out, or gets distorted when an explosion or something shows up. Not a fan."
- "These speakers are both small and jam packed with power. They are compact enough that they don't take up too much space but somehow they still put out a metric crap ton of power and unusually great sound quality."

in What are the best speakers"Although I've never really heard of this brand, it does seem like these are pretty decent speakers. They are small, bookshelf speakers and turn out a decent amount of sound. I don't think I'd call them "the best", but they are a good, quality speaker.""The Audioengine P4B speaker system is a wonderful entry-level pair of speakers for home theater. They have Kevlar woofers and silk dome tweeters and even if you don't have a subwoofer these speakers have outstanding bass and midrange.""Pretty good speakers. They're not what I'd call audiophile oriented as the sound just isn't as crisp and clear as you'd get spending a lot more money, but for the price they're great. I have no issues with using them for casual listening.""Audioengine offers high-quality speakers that are affordable and without any name-brand hype. This particular speaker is small and discrete but still offers a big sound. "
