What the community says about Epson Home Cinema 2040

- "I think this is a great choice for a video projector. It works with a cable box or a streaming device like a Roku or Chromecast - anything MHL enabled. It does have some lag on video games, but for TV and movies it is great. You can use a screen you buy or just paint on on the wall. There is a small learning curve, but it is well worth it!"

in What are the best projectors"This is a very good projector even though it is a little pricey. The picture is crisp and vibrant. I was worried that it wouldn't be as good when the picture size is 100" but the picture is perfect. I am really blown away by the clarity and colors of the picture is projects. My only complaint is that the fans on it are a little noisy. ""The project is great with lots of features. It would be better with an LED bulb though. Overall a decent projector that's a little bit expensive with good reviews."
- "I wanted a small projector to project movies onto a blank white wall I have, since I don't have a big screen TV at home, but I still want to entertain guests. This one is a little loud, but I think that's normal with projectors. The picture quality is great."
- "I own an Epson Home Cinema 2040 projector and you really can't beat the screen size and resolution for the cost. I found mine on sale on amazon for $700, and I would never go back to a TV. The picture is just so much better, and this has made me a loyal Epson consumer. "
- "This is an outstanding Home Theater Projector! We put it up in our family room and the entire family enjoys the large screen--134" big from 12 feet away. The picture is bright enough to see well and super-sharp, and the projector is quiet enough to hear the quietest parts of a movie. "
