"I have had several fitbit models and most have had a problem or two. The support is not that great either. It has features that I like and most do work well and seem pretty accurate. I do not like the music transfer , it barely works at all. Seems to take forever. If your playlist is the reason you want one, I wouldn't recommend these at all."

""This is my second Fitbit, the first was the HR, so this is a huge improvement. When I set it up, I was prompted to put in the password for my house wifi and I did not have it handy and there was an option to set-up wifi later so I chose that. This was a mistake for me. It set up (which takes 2 hours) and then it had trouble syncing. I tried the option to add the wifi and my smart phone kept spinning and nothing happened. So I looked up trouble shooting. Basically if this happens to you, reset the iconinc by holding the bottom button and the single button on the other side till you get the fitbit logo, then disengage blue tooth on your phone and power your phone off and then turn it back on. It will then find it and prompt you to agree to terms and go through the set up. Of course this time I had my house wifi password. Once this was done I am very happy with it. It is more comfortable than my other fitbit, I love switching the bands to other colors. I have very small wrists and while it is certainly noticeable, I think it looks sleek and modern and I like the large screen that is easy to read. I've taken it hiking and its done great. I bike and swim and have not tried it out for those activiites." - Michelle Hamilton (Verified Purchase) "

"Well this seems like a valid solution because the FitBit is amazing, and the Ionic is the most expensive line them make. Its meant to go head to head with the Apple Iwatch, without the ability to make phone calls. I am hesitant to give this solution a 5 since all this is, is just suggesting the most expensive FitBit out there without really explaining why you need to spend that much on it. "

"This is a customizable new Fitbit product that is more stylish and interactive than other models of Fitbits. It's definitely worth it's value for a Fitbit or activity band enthusiast, but it's a little less economically sound than other Fitbit models. It does allow you to play music and have coaching in addition to the usual features though."

"I am a person who gets bored with diet and exercise. I need something to track and keep obsessed about. I bought the Fitbit Ionic on a black friday sale.So I have had my Ionic for two weeks. My first impressions: easy to set up, clear and easy to use app, large watch but it is light weight I almost forget I am wearing it, very accurate steps, HR, etc., brilliant screen, many different faces, waterproof, long battery life, GPS. It will not be every for everybody but it is close. I highly reccomend it"

"This watch has a lot of bugs and Fitbit is not dealing with them. Watch has Bluetooth connection problems AND syncing issues (says its syncing but no information is transferred). Very frustrating when support cant seem to resolve the issues and there is no information online to help troubleshoot. Looking at blogs and I see a lot of people that are having the same problem."

" I don't understand why this smart watch is being compared to apple watch 3. Every article about this is either “is this the apple watch killer” or “More fitness tracker than smartwatch” The comparison to the third generation of apple watch is just odd, this is the first real smartwatch that Fitbit has done, yet it's being compared to a device that has had three years of refinement and development The general comments seem to be based around if the Ionic is smart enough to be considered a smartwatch, comparing features to the apple watch 3. For me its simple, a smart watch is smart, when it has built-in GPS, card payments, can store music and works with Bluetooth headphones - The basics that mean I don't have to have my phone with me if I want to head out on a long walk, pay for things and listen to music on the way. Above all else though, a smartwatch is NOT a smartwatch, when it's on charge. When it's on charge, its a piece of metal and chips that have no use. This for me is the fundamental reason that makes the ionic amazing; you can wear it none stop for four days and reap all the benefits that come "

"After months of misery dealing with the battery life on my Apple Watch I sold it quickly and decided to that I didn't need a full feature smart watch and decided that fitness and health app integration and battery life would be the best way to go for me. After must searching searching this was indeed the ideal watch. In the mid price range but way less than my Apple Watch. After forgetting to charge it the first night and waking up to almost 75% battery I knew I was hooked. Been using it for a while for my runs and gym time. Holds well and very satisfied."

"I've been using the Fitbit Ionic the past few weeks and it has done great for helping me keep in my target heart rate zone while jogging. The built in functionality makes it so I don't have to worry about bringing my phone along with me so I can listen to music from Pandora and track my workouts all from this great device."

"This is the best Fitbit on the market. It pairs seamlessly with my android phone. I never have to worry about it missing data like some of the other fitness trackers that I have used. My husband even used it on his iPhone. The interface was essentially the same. Which is great so you don’t feel like you are missing out on anything by using a different device. It’s light weight and doesn’t get in the way while you running or playing soccer. It’s also super user friendly. Love! Love! Love!"

"I'm going on my 3rd smartwatch now. I had to return my previous two. On a recommendation from a friend at work, I decided to give the Fitbit Ionic a try. I like the simple display. The shape is nice and elegant and doesn't get in the way when I'm working out or jogging. It has all the necessities of a modern day smart watch. I was really impressed with the battery life. It's as advertised. It last me almost a week on a charge. So far I have to say I'm impressed by the Fitbit Ionic as it pairs really well with my Samsung phone. I'd like to see more color options then the standard ones they have available at the moment. The price is right on this though so I'll say it's worth it."

"As far as functionality goes, this is a great smartwatch. Nearly anything one could want is available. It is sturdy, holds a charge well and syncs easily. The only problem is it looks rather bland. It is almost unattractive. At the very least, it isn't eye-catching. I think at this point, some consideration should be made in making smartwatches as stylish as possible, but this one is, at best, unremarkable."

The band is very comfortable, I considered buying a different one to replace the stock band before I even received it. I am glad that I didn't, I really like the one that came with it. I do reccomend a desk top charger purchase, it makes charging so simple and you don't have to fumble with the cord."

"This watch does everything I need! Not only does it track my steps and heart rate, it can coach me through my workouts and give me suggestions on how to improve my health. I can use it while swimming, too, no problem. I can store my workout playlists on it as well, so no need to lug my phone around when I'm at the gym. I also like the fact that I can get text messages and calendar alerts on it. My job is pretty hectic, and I don't always have time to reach for my phone. The only thing I don't like about this watch is the size. I have small wrists, and the watch looks bulky. But that is a small price to pay for all the functionality."
