"This is really a decent, if expensive tracker. It charges fast and the alarms are a nice feature."

"This is exactly the kind of result I'd expect to find for this search. There is a small typo in that it duplicates the name of the product in the solution. The only other issue I have is that the gadget it recommends only gets 3 of 5 stars on Amazon. I would expect it to recommend the best. "

" Fitbit Surge has to be at the top of it's class when it comes to health tech gadgets. This product is compatible with a lot of other electronics which makes it really easy to use."

"A good tracker, but it's kind of bulky and I find it to be a little too uncomfortable. It's kind of distracting when I'm running, so I can't personally recommend this device for active exercising. "

"The Fitbit Surge is an above average wearable with a competent GPS however longevity of the charging ability, charging connection and comfort of the band seems an issue. Garmin Fenix 3 Smartwatch seems a more popular choice. "

"A very popular item and a go-to for many people but the realization that it's glitchy and pretty expensive for what it does makes me wonder if it will last. Overall if you're really into fitness gadgets I'd say get it, but it's not anywhere near the best."

"I have had my Surge since mid-Dec and I am happy to say it is a huge step up from the Flex! I am so excited that I don't have a collection of stuff on my wrist anymore (and that is what it felt like to have a watch and another device on my wrist)."

"I recently as wll got a fitness tracker as a way to count my steps during the day. The Fitbit Surge is an amazing piece of technology that it can do so many things in such a small device. If your wanting to monitor your steps then this is one of the best trackers for you to have."

"The Fitbit Surge is a lightweight wireless heart rate watch. It is extremely user friendly and comfortable on the wrist. There is a potential for the constant rubbing to cause a skin rash for some people with semi-sensitive skin, though. This can be rectified by putting a thin layer of cloth or a bandage in between your wrist and the watch. Overall it works well and does what it needs to do."

"While I prefer the smaller fitbit Alta for cardio/moderate activities, the Fitbit Surge would be a good choice for men, or for those who want a larger interface. This design is comfortable to wear despite its size, and I think Fitbit has the best web/mobile apps of any fitness tracker."

"While I absolutely adore the Fitbit brand and have received huge benefits from wearing this device, I found this particularly product to be rather aesthetically unattractive and, worse still, uncomfortable to wear. It certainly has helped me to monitor my physical activity level and to reach my health goals on a daily basis, I just wish that the design had been better thought out. It would have been nice if they had designed a Surge tailored specifically for women, or at least offered different colors and strap sizes. My opinion is that you would do better with one of Fitbit's other products and take a pass on the Surge."

"No longer functional as a FitBit monitor. A recent firmware update reduced battery life in Exercise Mode (the mode that tracks your heart rate, calories, etc) to about 3h. I bought my Surge about 6 months ago and at the time I was happy with it, although the quality of the materials and the wear on it weren’t ever worth the $300 pricetag. I’m pretty sure I could’ve gotten the same functionality for $100. Recently, Fitbit “”“improved””” the software in the Surge. The exercise mode now drains the battery life in less time than your average workout session. There’s no way to roll back the update, and FitBit won’t respond to any of my inquiries and has denied my request for a full or partial refund. This becomes a 3.5-star review if Fitbit ever fixes their stuff. Even if they do, take caution; they might brick your watch without telling you or giving you any recourse, so I’d be careful shopping from them even if they fixed my Surge. As for now, straight 0 stars, because IT CANNOT BE USED AS A FITBIT MONITOR DUE TO FITBIT'S SOFTWARE CHANGES."

"Excellent solution because it is the intelligent accessory that helps you to keep up with your daily activities (tracking steps, distance, calories burned, scaled floors and active minutes, heart rate monitor and sleep patterns that are displayed on the screen). In my particular case it helps me promote my healthier and more balanced lifestyle, while helping me to keep up with call notifications and wirelessly synchronize statistics with my smartphone. "

"Honestly, the charging requirement of electric watches is too cumbersome for the wearing of such a watch to be worth it. You need something you can turn to, not something that needs to turn to you."

"The Fitbit Surge is a fitness tracker that keeps track of your daily steps and workouts. It's a great device that really does a good job with keeping all of your health and exercise data right on your wrist. However, the price is quite expensive compared to others on the market, but it does contain a lot of features not found in the cheaper models."

The Fitbit Surge has more than surpassed my expectations and gives all the data I could possibly want in the app and so many more features I haven't even had time to check them all out. I really love my fitbit and wear it everywhere now."

"This is the perfect one for runners and for serious workouts! I know a lot of people who are just trying to get their steps in I honestly don't think you need all this just for your steps. But if you're running and doing some serious training then this is the one to get. I actually prefer this one even though I'm not a runner or anything but I like the larger display and I like to have a GPS and heart rate monitor."

"Basically a giant Fitbit. Not sure it's really worth it. Compared to my old Fitbit, I can't honestly say it's better - but it was more expensive and it's annoyingly big on my wrist. I know it's a watch, but I don't feel it needs to be that big, and the calorie counting function is OK, but not what it could be, in my humble opinion. I find it tedious to use it and I actually gave up after a while, so the function is not really part of the appeal for me anymore. Not convinced on this one."

"First of all I love my Fitbit Surge watch. The Fitbit Surge does basically everything, most of all it really helps me stay on my diet. I credit the Surge for may latest victory in the weight loss game. The functions are too many to name but I really like the pulse rate and the way I can sync with all my other gadgets. At the end of the day you can check it easily and know that you are on the right track! "
