"I love biking but hate carrying my bulky phone with me when I bike. So I found a smartwatch that is perfect for my biking adventures. It's the Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch. It keeps track of all of my stats so I can easily review all of my rides immediately afterwards. It's comfortable and easy to wear. I love it overall!"

"This is one of the higher end Fits Bits. Its one of the most expensive ones so its pretty easy to just recommend the most expensive FitBit as a "best" solution. "

"Fitness tracking taken to the next logical step. They still want you to log in and send all your data off to a website though. Why? I paid for the device, must they sell my data to medical companies just so they can double dip and some executive gets another jet? The Surge is nice though. Light, accurate, good battery life. But it's another smart device that sells me out. Why can't I have a smart device that's just for me, and not all the companies too?"

"I've always struggled from sleeping problems. I have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. This watch has helped me see my sleeping patterns and see if anything changes when I drink something different from one night to the next or the food I eat. It really has shown me how to fix my sleep. It's also a great watch for exercising but I really liked the sleeping program on it so if you suffer from this too I would highly recommend."

"I bought this watch and have had only one complaint. The band is a bit uncomfortable and took some getting used to. Other than that it does everything I need. I like the bar code scanning feature that gives me all the nutrition data from foods when I am shopping. "

" As an outdoor enthusiast, I have been enthralled with the new wearable tech on the market. The Surge seemed like it would do everything I wanted. It’s waterproof, connects well with the app, and is pretty easy to wear. I found it pretty bulky on my wrist, but that is just a preference thing. The worst part for me was how poorly the materials were designed. After less than a year the band almost disintegrated! I hope the next generation can keep up with me a little more."

"I can truly say am from the future with this watch. It's such an innovation. It's almost like a personal trainer. And the alarm is the best part, my sleep rhythm is out of wack and this watch has consistently kept me on track. But the price though."

"Fitbit Surge Fitness Superwatch is a smart watch that is available from Amazon for $210.00. This is a smart watch and fitness tracker combined. This has everything you could want in a fitness and activity tracker. There are a lot of quality issues with this watch. It seems there is a lot of trouble with the band coming off the watch. I don't think this fits the topic because of the quality issues."

"I have had my Surge since mid-Dec and I am happy to say it is a huge step up from the Flex! I am so excited that I don't have a collection of stuff on my wrist anymore. As a watch it is one of the best executions of a watch on a fitness device that I have seen. "

"This is one of the crown jewels when it comes to fitness/smartwatches as it is a FitBit. This is a highly functional, well adapted and executed watch for pretty much all of your fitness needs. It looks fantastic and is has a very low profile on your wrist. It really is of the better smartwatches that exist, but you certainly pay for it. I love it!"

"This is a reasonably priced watch that also has GPS built in. The price point isn't too bad, just over $200. The watch also has other features geared mainly towards health and fitness. This would be a good unit if you are into running and want to know the distance covered. The only concern I would have is the possibility of your privacy being invaded or sold. Overall this is a good option for those wanting a GPS watch, I feel that it is worth looking into if your in the market for this type of device. "

" The app on my iPhone allows me to easily enter the type of food I am eating and the amount of calories, and calories from fat. The app is synched up with a HUGE database and allows you to scan a barcode on a package and it automatically shows you the pertinent nutritional information. I have used this feature on about 40 items so far, and about 70-80% of these items were in the database. The others I added manually, but then you can pull the up easily the next time you eat that food item. You can also type in the name of a restaurant and it will pull up items on their menu. It has worked on 100% of the these with 95% of the items listed."

"The Fitbit Surge is part of the classic fit bit family of smart watchers. You can easily track your activities and have it synch up with your phone. Battery length doesn't jump out at as being any better or worse than other options. The thin and sleek look makes it stand out."

"This smartwatch works good for keeping track of your health information, such as heart rate, calories burned, and all that good stuff. But I can't figure out how I'd send that info directly to my doctor. Obviously I can physically bring in the watch with me (which I've done) but I've yet to discover how to send it directly to my doctor without being there in person - if there's even a way to do so. Because of that it does meet half of my needs (being a very good fitness wearable) but not being able to send the data (as far as I can tell) to my doc definitely makes me take a couple points off the rating. 3/5"

"The FitBit Surge functions well but is lacking in build quality. The size is bulky feeling and the band is almost certain to break eventually forcing you to get it replaced. It seems only the FitBits that allow you to change the band yourself are worth the money."

"This fitbit is a fantastic offering in the smart watch space as it has a long battery life, easy to read face and tracks all of the basic data you'd expect from a smart watch. It has great software that is streamlined to give you the immersive info you need to track your fitness habits. It really is a great product."

"The one thing about the Fitbit Surge that I liked over the other models is that it features GPS. This is so helpful as a runner because my statistics are much more accurate than using a pedometer. Some people may not like the fact that it also tracks where you go, but you can disable it if you would like. Having continuous heartbeat tracking is another great addition that just makes stats that much more accurate. I would definitely buy this Fitbit again if something happened to it."
