"I have been wanting to try a smart wristwatch for a while, and now that I'm ready to make the purchase I need to find the best one on the market. I am excited about this Garmin watch because it has great features and is the #1 best seller with over 2,000 reviews. I think this could be just what I'm looking for!"

"Garmin is by far an excellent product in any of their devices out there on the market. This item as a watch is very innovative. I love how it's also waterproof. If you are an athlete like I am you would need that feature because when you are active and all sweaty it is important that your watch is not going to die on you. Also if you are swimming you don't have to worry about taking your watch off and then getting into the water. It can go with you. I love to go rafting, and I love this feature because I wouldn't have to worry about the device getting wet and wasting so much money."

"This fitness tracker is the best out there. I've tried and couple other ones, but this is the only one that consistently and accurately tracks everything I need. It has a few more features than a couple of the other watches that I've tried. I like that it's more sleek and lightweight on my wrist. I hardly know that it's there. It's waterproof functionality works really well and I can use it for a variety of activities. I only wish it came in a few more colors, but that is a minor request."

"The Garmin Vívoactive HR is a GPS Smartwatch. It could be used for Alzheimer patients, but is really more than what they need if they are just needing a GPS bracelet. The Garmin Vívoactive HR would also provide heart rate and other exercise numbers."

"I'm a health nut and love having the latest health apps on my smartwatch. In fact I chose my smartwatch because of the health apps that it was. I purchased the Garmin Vívoactive HR. It's very functional and easy to use. I can easily see the screen and update my stats and get recommendations from it. I love it!"

"Cool graphics gives bar graph of heartbeat for the day. This watch is VERY large. If you are wearing Dress shirts it might not even fit below..beside your sleeve. It is a little pricey 142.00 You get a lot of extra detail on this item. If you know you won't use that, stick with a cheaper or smaller watch. Otherwise this is VERY well reviewed."

"This smartwatch has GPS and tracks my heart rate pretty accurately. This is like a poor man's iWatch. With a price point like this, it is very tempting to get this rather than the iWatch. It is great for running and biking because it keeps track of my distance traveled."

"An okay smartwatch, though I expected better for the price. It's definitely a budget product, but since comparable watches can come in under $100 I thought this would be better. You can use it in India (or anywhere else) just fine, and it works alright, though it's a bit slow and buggy sometimes."

"The tracker overall is pretty solid, although I would personally wait for the price to drop before going in on the full price. I think anyone using the watch will be pretty happy with all it's functions and abilities overall. If you are on the fence with this one I'd say at least wait for a sale and then pick it up."

"This tracker is among the best. It does basically everything that I would want it to do, except that it looks awful. That really is the only drawback, as the functionality is great. It just looks like a big bulky fitness device, and that makes it hard to wear all the time, which is sort of the point for me."

"I've been using it for almost 2 weeks now, I got lucky and got one really early. So far, I love it. Between weight training, elliptical running, biking (outdoor with ant+ sensors connected) and a huge amount of yard work, I am extremely impressed. Unlike previous wrist based trackers I've had, this one actually tracks movement when I cut the lawn or push a shopping cart. I use the GPS for yard work (turn on the walk activity), and it's really cool to see the movement map when I'm done."

"This is a great tool that can track on almost anything and is accurate compared to competitors, there is also no issues in coverage area like some places can have. The only thing to beware of, a friend on mine has this who swims, it has trouble tracking swim results and also does not seems to be water compatible. Besides that, flawless product."

"I used to own the Fit-bit, but honestly, I didn't like the aesthetics of it. Then I came across this watch by Garmin and saw that it was also waterproof. I have been using this for swimming and it has had great performance. The only issue I have is that it does not track heart rate, but hopefully in the future they will update this. "

"Amazing activity tracker for what it costs. I'm able to log bike rides, swims and runs perfectly. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants more than just tracking steps. This watch tracks HR 24/7, runs and bike rides with GPS tracking, it has its own memory, it receives firmware updates over bluetooth, you can even turn on "Live Track" on your phone to allow family members to track you while you are exercising. "I like the idea behind this fitness tracker. I like a LOT of the things that you can do with it. The problem is, the multitude of "likes" is offset by the one issue that has bugged my VivoActive HR since I purchased it two months ago. Every so often, while I have it plugged into my computer USB port for charging, it has the annoying issue of updating itself and causing problems that will make any fitness junkie just gnash his teeth in frustration. You can download apps from the app store and they sure come in handy...until the aforementioned update ends up wiping them out. For example, I never cared much for the standard watch face so I downloaded one that was more to my liking. I also downloaded a hiking app so that it would keep track of my activity when I was out for my 3-times per week hike. Then I plugged it in to recharge and bang...the apps are no longer there, and I have the original watch face back. The first time it happened, the device was about 3 weeks old. I figured maybe it was some sort of anomaly, so I downloaded the 2 apps again and went through the process of adjusting the settings to my preference. Then about a month later and son of a gun, doesn't it do it all over again. This morning my apps were gone. So now I have to browse the app store and try and remember which ones I downloaded the first time. Fortunately I had written down the exact name of the apps that I liked, so it was less of a nightmare than I might have dealt with. But after two times, the watch has taken its place in the desk drawer and I've just gone back to my standard Timex Ironman wristwatch. Sure, it doesn't track my steps, my calorie burn, my activities, but I'm OK with that. All those things are great if they aren't offset by this annoying habit of the watch to delete everything I've installed on it! Come on Garmin, do your homework and your beta testing. I spent my entire life working in quality control and my company would have been out of business if we put out products with that level of reliability. The answer is not in a computer forum where you try and find someone else with the same (unresolved) problem. The answer is to manufacture a GPS Smart Watch with a better pattern of reliability. Buy one if you like, maybe you'll have better luck than I did, but be prepared. "

"This is a great watch with a lot of functions. The screen is super easy to read, even in the sun. I feel it is more so for athletics and tracking physical activity. It is not as useful as a media player. If you are a runner, biker, or avid exercise enthusiast, than this is the watch for you. If you are all about music and videos, I would say this watch is not for you."

It is sturdy, rain and splash proof, and I love the built in apps! The large touchscreen makes it easy to use while outside, which is a great improvement. I would recommend to anyone who spends a lot of time outside."
