"The ThinkPad line has a ton of decent models and this one works great for someone that needs a good work laptop that isn't too bulky. It still packs a ton of power, but doesn't require a big backpack to lug around. "

"I am not very pleased with my purchase of this laptop. I wish I had taken more time to choose a new laptop and researched the products more in depth before purchasing. I have had lots of trouble with bugs and the display screen resolution. This product should be better for the price I paid."

"My favorite laptops are Lenovos. However, my biggest gripe with them, is that they are often too heavy. So, in looking for a Lenovo laptop at a low weight, I tried the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 20FB002LUS. This laptop has powerful specifications alongside maintaining a very light weight which is perfect for my needs. "

"I was in the market for for a rather compact laptop that could still be used as a good mobile desktop. I picked up the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 and it reminded me of my old IBM ThinkPads. It had the trademark red mouse tracking pointer in the center and the layout and silhouette of the laptop was very old school IBM. I got the high tech specs with the latest Intel Core i7 Processor along with the WQHD IPS display. I've been really happy with this purchase so far and it has suited my business needs well. No complaints so far."

"Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is a great choice of laptop for photo editing for on-the-go photographers. I have this myself as I am always editing photos when I am on a photo shoot. You can run Photoshop without any problem on this laptop eh. "

"I can only rate this okay. For the money, I think it should be quieter and clearer. I am also afraid I might be having problems with something internally and it's not that old."

"The machine runs well, handles what I need it to do: Photoshop, Premier. It can run most of my games, even though the gpu is underwhelming for full 3D games, but it could do in a pinch. The keyboard takes some getting used to, but it's not a deal breaker. A real big negative is the metric crap ton of pre installed Lenovo junk software. Be ready to delete a lot of programs or reinstall Windows."

"I've had issues with this thing since I got it. It loads way too slowly for a new pc. I've also had issues with drivers, the ones that are loaded don't seem to be the right ones. Just disappointed all around with this."

"I looked into purchasing a ThinkPad Carbon but I don't think they are a particularly attractive deal for a gamer unless you're only playing very light games. You're buying a 2 generation old cpu, a small 14 inch device with a cramped keyboard, and you're paying more than twice as much as something like the Dell Inspiron gaming laptops with 7th gen cpus and 10 series nvidia cards."

"It's hard to go wrong with a Lenovo ThinkPad and the X1 Carbon is great. I actually would go for this just because it's better looking that so many in this category. But it's biggest drawback is the price, you can probably find something portable with a keyboard and trackpad that offers similar specs for a few hundred less."

"Works great for coding and programming use! A standard Linux and Windows laptop, all you need for coding is in it. Optimal for programmers. The processing speed is impressive. It's also very light and comfortable to rest, making it easy to use for those long hours of coding and programming."

"I like how fast this computer is because of the top of line processor but I don't like that it doesn't have a ten key pad on the keyboard. I think this slows down my programming as much of my variables are numeric."

"Hey guys! I highly suggest this Lenovo laptop to those people who are working with Oracle and Linux operating system. The 16gb of ram is definitely the best part of this laptop--multitasking at its finest! If you are a computer science student, this will work too. You can be sure of in terms of security because of its encryption feature. It's 2019, you won't know if someone is hacking your system "
