"It's cheap for the size and a real bargain if it lasts long but people have been reporting issues about electrical problems and burnout. Personally for me I wouldn't spring for the warranty but you might want that for peace of mind. With this TV you can look at your media on a usb drive as well so if you want to show off your vacation photos like a slideshow of old, look no further."

"Perfect TV for family room! Enjoy a beautiful picture and music with side AV and headphone output."

"With only one HDMI input and a large amount of 1 star reviews, money could be much better spent elsewhere. It only seems to last 2 years at best, making it not worth the investment."

"Now that I have it plugged in and on the table where I can enjoy my tv it's great. The color is real nice but for other people who buy this item or any 42" tv MAKE SURE you have someone to help you take it out of the box and help you set it up. When I got my tv the guy who brought it to me only put it in my house but REFUSED to help me take it out of the box. It is a big heavy tv. I called my cable company and had someone to hook all the cables to it and help me set it on the table. I had even put the stand on it myself. It's a great tv and I love it however the picture goes off then comes back on at times. it could be my cable box."

"This TV is ancient. I can't imagine a worse TV. It almost completely lacks modern features while also not being old enough to be a retro gaming TV."

"Loved this TV for 4 good years. The picture was outstanding and sound is great. TV is very hot (as plasmas are) but otherwise no complaints. "

"We bought this TV thinking it's a smart TV, but it's not. It has a decent resolution and lots of input plugs, but it can't connect to the internet, so we can't do the things we want to do with it. I wish I would have read other reviews before buying this one. I'm going to send it back. So don't buy this TV if you want a smart TV."

"TV is outdated at this time. Plasma uses a lot of power and have burn in."
