"I am a big Back to the Future fan and this was a must purchase item for me. However to call this a hoverboard is a bit of a stretch. I am on the high end for it's maximum weight and it really doesn't function well for me. I am fairly disappointed with my purchase."

"I gave this Segway to my son for his 15th birthday last week, and he's been riding it non-stop since then! He loves that it's easy to steer and that the ride is smooth, while his dad and I love that it's certified for fire and electrical safety. The customizable LED taillights give it a unique edge that all of my son's friends wish they had."

"Love it! I've rode a few of my friends' knock-off hoverboards and they've got nothing on the Segway Minilite. Handles like a dream and battery life is excellent. I am perfectly fine with paying more for the brand."

"This isn't a bad gift idea for kids who are technologically advanced. However I would say be careful if you don't have the most graceful children. They will hurt themselves on this thing when you aren't looking."

"I was looking for the best Segways with handle and came across the Segway MiniLite. It's not the segway to get if you're looking for one with handles because it doesn't have any."

"It was hard for me not to spend the extra 100 bucks on the Segway brand hoverboard. Most of the ones available are made by companies I've never heard of and after seeing news reports of them catching on fire, I really felt like steering clear. The MiniLite has a bunch of stuff the cheap ones don't like inflatable tires, a balance bar, and extended battery life. I found it really easy to get balanced on and moving. It's a bit fast too for my son, but I think it's great for me."
