What the community says about Sony HT-ST5000
- "I just received a smart TV for my birthday and I wanted to find the best Sony Bluteooth soundbar speakers to pair with the TV. A coworker of mine recommended the Sony HT-ST5000. I decided to give it a try and must say that I was very pleased. I think that the soundbar sounds great with very rich detail of Hi-Res audio. It is something I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their home entertainment system."
- "This could not have been easier to set up. I literally had this thing out of the box and watching a movie in under 10 minutes. You place the long sound bar where you want it. Place the subwolfer where you want it (we put ours behind us and that turned out to be a great choice). Plug your devices into the sound bar (we have a Roku, DVD player, and Direct TV box in this room) with HDMI cables (not included) then plug a single HDMI cable from the sound bar into your TV (included). Put the batteries in the remote. Follow the onscreen set up (which took me under three minutes). Enjoy. "
- "It is an okay product. You get the reliability you expect from Sony but the sound quality isn't what I was thinking it would be. I thought it would be something where I didn't feel the need to supplement the system but that just isn't the case. It looks cool but it is at best an okay sound bar. "
- "Sony HT-ST5000 is one of the upper tier soundbars in terms of quality and Sony has a decent reputation for audio quality. I'm not sure this sound bar is worth the 1300 dollar price tag on it though."
