What the community says about Sony MDR-V6
- "Seeking a nice pair of Sony headphones, I happened onto the Sony MDR-V6. For less the 70.00 you could get better. Its got the traditional 3.5mm plug and it comes with 1/4 inch adapter. The headband is padded nicely so you rarely get headphone fatigue. I really dig the cord, It's kind of a throw back to the stretchy spiral cord. The ear cups are also nicely padded for extended use."
- "The headphones that the 7506 were based on. It's another good option and comes in at a slightly lower price and a slightly warmer sound signature. It's still one of the most balanced cans that I have tried in the sub-100 price bracket and will be suited for sound production just as much as the 7506 does."
- "I didn't think I would ever purchase a pair of wired headphones, but this set changed my mind! The sound quality through these headphones is amazing - clear and bright. The design provides amazing noise reduction, letting me focus on the music and not my environment. The ten-foot cord makes it easy to forget you are tethered. Well worth the price!""Compared to the more expensive model these are quality headphones. I have to say they are not top of the line but they are mid tier. Mid tear is enough for what you are going to be using them for anyway. I do not think that most people who buy these are audiophiles. There are the more expensive models if you are looking to use them for that basis. "
- "The Sony MDR-V6 over the ear headphones are the best professional headphones that I have ever seen at such a low price point. They provide rich high fidelity sound quality. If you're in the market for some new studio headphones, you should give them a serious look.""Sony MDRV6 are high quality featuring a copper cord fro the best conductivity. The headband is adjustable and the ear's are fold able for compact storage and easy portability. Sold at a very affordable price and give quality sound, can be used for listening or mixing. "
