"i work in a small office space with a bunch of sh-t bags and cackling hens. i just tried these out for the first time today and they work extremely well. i use the soft mummer app and it completely drowns out all of the awful people i work with and every other annoying sound. these idiots all have their own little usb speakers and radios all listening to different stations, talking about inane things that i am unable to ignore. i am very sensitive to sound and very crotchety for my age. i had to try something and these are working out well so far. they work so well that i had to set a visual alert on my phone which is literally inches away so i know when its ringing. i'm not sure on the battery life as of yet but i'd gladly pay for one AAA battery every so often if it means i don't have to listen with these morons anymore. "Hi, Sony MDRZX110NC Headphones is at the top of the list for Best Headphones under 50 Dollor. It is really awesome and its sounds quality is excellent. The bass is awesome and have the clear crystal sound. You will get the best music experience and even the mic is fantastic. This is indeed a beautiful earphone – both for its audio outputs and its visual appeal. Comparatively sony has a superior build quality. It can also be worn with headband behind the ear to make it compatible with hats. It has the feature of ear cups which you can easily adjust for a customized fit. This headphone is very light in weight Have fun!!!"

"I was able to get a hold of a set of noise cancelling headphones. Made by Sony and they are under 40.00 for the pair. I haven't had to try them that long but it touts that the battery is up 80 hours. Thats a a fair amount of time. The headphones have a slick finish to them and a nice cushioned ear-cup."

"I found these pretty good to reduce exterior noise when I am working or when I'm trying to do something in the hobby room in the kids are making too much noise playing, it doesn't cancel out the noise, but it does a good job of reducing it. I found it to do a pretty good job for its price as they are relatively inexpensive, comparable to some more expensive ones."

"Sony MDRZX110NC is a pair of noise canceling headphones, however, in the problem it is mentioned clearly that "oper ear" headphones are needed. Anything that cancels/isolates noise is a closed ear system which is the very opposite of the open ear counterpart, therefore this solution is simply not suitable for the problem. "

"I wanted an inexpensive pair of headphones to listen to podcasts and watch movies when I'm on my computer and these fit the bill. The sound comes through crisply and they are comfortable for wearing over a short period of time. My ears do start to ache after more than a couple of hours of wearing them so that is something to consider. "

"I liked these headphones as the sound is very good and clear. I don't bother the kids when they are asleep and I listen to my music. I like that they are comfortable and they even look very updated and sleek. The battery life is very long and I can wear them for hours at a time with no issues. "

"The Sony MDRZX110NC headphones are a great buy for the price. The headphones are stylish and attractive but also comfortable for long hours of use. The sound quality is stellar for the price. They also have a useful noise cancelling feature. I really like them, and they are compact enough to be useful for traveling as well."

"For 40$ or so, these were a pretty good deal, but the noise cancelling features are not up to par with pricier products. I guess this may be a case of you get what you paid for, as I was disappointed in the quality of these. Still, not bad at 40 dollars, but I might put that money toward a nice pair if I could go back in time,"

"I wouldnt call these the best but they are decent. The arent really noise cancelling, The tend to muffle outside noise more than anything, which can mess the the sound quality a bit. If your along in a quiet place these should be okay."

"I was a little confused when buying this item. It's unclear whether it's wired or wireless since the picture on it shows wires. It turns out it is wireless, and uses wireless frequency (not Bluetooth). My only complaint is the ear pads are rubbery and sticky."

"Amazing headphones for the price, not only do they sound great, they're also noise-cancelling. Of course, they're not as good as the higher-tier headphones but you're getting a lot of technology for the price. It's a great gift for someone who works at offices and places with a lot of people, highly recommend."

"Who doesn't want a bit of noise relief on a 10 hr. plane flight? Although these Sony MDRZX110NC headphones don't cancel out all the noise of a busy plane cabin on a uncomfortable transatlantic flight, they definitely make the noise more manageable and not as quite as draining. The headphones have nicely padded ear pieces and adjustable sizing to fit small and not so small head sizes."

"Many DJ headphones privilege style over substance but the Sony MDRZX110NC Noise Cancelling Headphones thankfully have both. Within a relatively small form factor, these headphone pack in a lot of power, minimizing outside and ambient noise while pushing through amazing bass and treble--a must for any DJ! Super comfortable as well and because they are foldable, you can always keep them in a bag or purse for toting anywhere. And so affordable!"

"These Sony headphones are good headphones and one of the best options at the price. Not only do they beat the $100 threshold, but the $50 one. So, it is really a good budget friendly option even if it's not the overall best headphone, it's a great choice for the budget conscious."

"You could get 2 or 3 pairs of these headphones for under $60 without sacrificing features that a lot of the other, more expensive ones boast at a higher price tag. That's just what I did, I bought 2 pairs, one for the office and one for home, I liked them so much! These over-the-ear headphones fit well, and provide decent noise cancelling properties and has great cushioning around the ears, which feel like little pillows for my ears. The sound is even better than I expected with a 12–22,000 Hz frequency response and has a nice 30 mm Neodymium driver. The battery life is terrific as well, because it lasts up to 80 hours and the 4 ft cord is long enough for my purposes. "
