"I've tried a number of different combinations of set-top boxes and streaming controllers, but have had the best results so far with the TiVo BOLT. Yes, TiVo is still around, and the granddaddy of them all can still get it done. This little device allows me to record all the shows I want and have them instantly at my fingertips for super quick recall. Plus it supports 4K, which is great. However, while the box itself isn't that expensive, it does require a $15/month subscription, which is a bit of a bummer."

"The TiVo Bolt is an overpriced piece of junk. I don't know why you would recommend this as the best device to watch Netflix. First, the TiVo costs $199, then you pay a $150 per year for the guide, then $15 per month. It is utterly ridiculous when you could go get a Roku for under $100 flat fee. The only thing a TiVo is good for is the DVR function and this is way overpriced."

"This little device is a blessing! I can record so many seasons of shows so I can save them to watch for later. It is compatible with 4K so that is always a plus. The quality is great and the images are clear. It is not bad for its price and very portable. I can bring this over to a friends house if I need to and set up is easy too."

"I had an old TiVo and it worked great. I currently don't own one but they were reliable and had great streaming capacity. This device is a good candidate to run your Netflix. I find recording my favorite shows was easy as well."

"This was easy to hookup and works well with my tv. I like that I can record 4 shows at the same time. I just wish it held more than 75 hours of content because it's easy to store up that much pretty quick."

"TiVo is an excellent digital recording option. It allows you to record more shows at one time than a standard DVR, which is great for homes with large families."
