Yes, TiVo is still around, and the granddaddy of them all can still get it done. This little device allows me to record all the shows I want and have them instantly at my fingertips for super quick recall. Plus it supports 4K, which is great. However, while the box itself isn't that expensive, it does require a $15/month subscription, which is a bit of a bummer."

I don't know why you would recommend this as the best device to watch Netflix. First, the TiVo costs $199, then you pay a $150 per year for the guide, then $15 per month. It is utterly ridiculous when you could go get a Roku for under $100 flat fee. The only thing a TiVo is good for is the DVR function and this is way overpriced."

It is compatible with 4K so that is always a plus. The quality is great and the images are clear. It is not bad for its price and very portable. I can bring this over to a friends house if I need to and set up is easy too."
