"One of the best open source games is Battle for Wesnoth. It's free and available for a variety of computers. It's sort of like Warsong, where you build an army and control villages. "

"The Battle for Wesnoth is a very interesting open source website where a bunch of people from all over the world contribute their talents to build a growing fantasy themed computer game. I'm not sure what it is a solution for but the thought and wisdom invested in it makes it a definite must see in my book."

"Don't let anyone tell you their aren't any great open source games on the Android platform. If they do, just show them the Battle for Wesnoth. I love this game. It is turn based tactical game where you lead your own army. "

"This is exactly what I needed. An open source game with all builds and code published. The game itself isn't that great, but open source ones rarely are."

"This is a neat little open source game that is turn-based, it's well maintained and it really shows. What's neat is that they've ported it for Android, and the game is older than most people have owned an Android phone. But it has user created campaigns and it's pretty challenging. I recommend it for everyone."

"I found this game last week and downloaded it to give it a try. It's still in development, so I have been wary of any bugs (there haven't been any yet). I really like the gameplay and storyline! I think I might try to get my friends to download it, so we can play it together. "

"Okay, this is among the few free-to-play turn-based strategy games. It reminds of Heroes of Might & Magic, which is another tactical game. This is a light game for pc that doesn't consume that many resources so it is playable even on older versions of PCs."
