What the community says about Grand Theft Auto IV
- "Grand Theft Auto IV is one of the best chapters of the Grand Theft Auto saga. I love its game play, and I find it's the funniest one of all the games developed by Rockstar North.""grand theft Auto has been the best game i played since GTA 2.it has really perfected their games and gameplay over the years and i would say it has/will keep getting better"
- "Grand Theft Auto 4 is one of the best games I ever played, for its time, and a game that revitalized an aging franchise and brought it into the current generation. So why only 1 star? Because, frankly, Grand Theft Auto IV was great for its day - but that was a long time ago. GTAV, the sequel, is simply superior to it in every possible respect. Graphics that were mind-blowing in 2008 are just blurry and awful in 2017. GTAV learned from GTAIV's flaws, and it really shows - so please, do yourself the favor and play it instead. You won't be disappointed.""Grand Theft Auto IV is the real deal!!!I have always loved games that involve adventure and this game has it all.I enjoyed playing every bit of it.Niko Bellic comes to a new city to seek new opportunities and the illegality he gets into makes the game so interesting and fun.""I bought Grand Theft Auto IV for my son because I know he really likes first-person games. I had no idea that this is game is filled with adult subject matter. This is not a game for children and I wouldn't suggest this as a gift for someone under the age of 15."

- "Hey you know what's a great open world game? GTA IV. You know what's horrible? Rockstar social club and the defunct but still required Games For Windows Live DRM. Unless you have no other options or wanted to play around with modding you are better off playing GTA IV on the consoles. If I didn't get it as part of a bundle I wouldn't own it on the PC at all.""This is, hands-down, one of my favorite open-world games ever. It has a great story and memorable characters. Some friends reported technical issues getting the game to run on their PC’s. I’m pretty sure there’s a workaround for that issue, though."
- "GTA is also a super fun game, though I don't know if having a controller for the PC makes it that much better (personally, I've always preferred playing most games on a console, and GTA is not much different). Still, it's a fun game and playing out your evil side is always fun. I'd definitely not recommend this for under 12 though."
