"Terraria is a great game, I would absolutely recommend it for the PC. But I can't sit idle while it is this high on a PS4 list, especially involving the split screen aspect! This game is an absolute nightmare to play on PS4. I gave it my all to get past the sloppy control layout that cannot be manually edited besides a few equally as bad control schemes. And once I learned to play like that, because I was playing with a friend, there are many more irritants to get past. The worst being crafting, in split screen when crafting is taking place the other players must remain out of their inventory and not make any changes to it, including picking items or money up. If a change occurs then your cursor will be shot from the crafting menu straight to your first equipment slot. The 2nd would be a current bug in the PS4 version that randomly deletes a random item in your quick slots, where any weapons, tools, or consumables would go. Yeah... At random... That sword you worked so hard to get? Gone. The only pickaxe amongst your 4 friends able to mine the new one your group is eyeing up? Well better get to mining with your old one. Wanted to heal up with your fresh new stack of potions you pulled from your chest? Well that's to bad, looks like your gonna have to heal with minor ones instead. And the 3rd one is random crashes, and with how saves are handled on the game, PS4 version specifically. If the game crashes and you are the primary world owner then things seem to be fine. Until your friends join back in. The game takes your characters and saves them just fine! But when it comes to the world, that's another story. If anyone stored or traded anything within the time period after the last auto save and the crash, it is as if the items never existed. Thank you for reading this and please pass it on. Until they fix this monstrosity of a game, at least for PS4, please I beg you, do not support this."

But if you like construction or interior design with a little bit of action, I recommend Terraria. I wish they would make the graphics a little bit hi tech so a lot more people would be pleased."

"I know many love Terraria and find it to be a great game. I find it to be confusing at times. Most times. Its much like mine craft but 2D and side scrolls. The game has lots of colors and a busy screen. The busy screen is what i think ruins it for me. I do enjoy building things and the building system is well built with many options."

"Terraria appears to be a solid game where the player is able to customize their character, build their worlds, and a lot of adventures to play. The game appears to be solid and well designed that players even after beating it return to play it again and again. It does cost money to have this game but based on it's features you are getting a bang for your buck and a game that you will not be disappointed to play again and again. "

It's kind of like Minecraft, but is a side-scrolling platformer, so it won't stress out your machine and a bet most any computers built in the past ten years would play it alright."

"The video of the game itself is right at the top but it's hard to really tell what the purpose of the game is. I also read the brief description to the right of the video but it's not getting across the key facts that it appeals to different types of gamers with story mode, building, and customization. Those facts should be larger, more clear, and highlighted in a better way. You have to scroll too far down and do a lot of reading to find out what this game is about."

"Terraria is somewhat similar to Minecraft, though it certainly differs in a number of key ways as well. It seems to be a little more structured, at least in certain modes, whereas Minecraft seems to be kind of more open-ended. The graphics are more retro, but are also sharper - I prefer this game's art style, for sure. Either way, it's worth picking up, as it's often on sale, regardless of how it compares to other titles that are more well-established as cultural points of reference."

Though the controls take a little bit to get used to on a touch screen, I can't think of a better local multiplayer Android game available. Setting up local multiplayer is fairly simple, as well.
