200 Pounds Beauty

Beauty doesn't always mean that a person should be physically attractive. In most cases, beauty is defined by how good your personality traits are. In 200 Pounds Beauty, you'll meet an attractive woman who doesn't have a good personality, and a beautiful woman who is humble and talented. To give you an idea of what the movie is all about, it centers on an overweight ghost singer who decides to undergo extreme plastic surgery after getting humiliated by a famous Korean pop singer. Sounds interesting, right? Well, this South Korean romantic comedy film is so interesting that it became a box office hit in 2006. It even received several awards and nominations. In case you didn't know yet, 200 Pounds Beauty is based on a Japanese manga called Kanna-San, Daiseikou Desu.

"I have heard some really good things about this movie, so I thought I would check it out. Overall I think it is pretty overrated. It is somewhat entertaining and there are definitely some funny parts, but it is also sappy and predictable."

"Pretty cliche trope but I am all for it because I could relate? Hahaha I have body image issues and I feel like beauty should not be measured by your weight but this was a good flick I guess."
