Paranoid, multi-layered, funny, and unsettling, this is one of those movies where you'll say, "I didn't think they could catch that on film." With its all-seeing police spying on everyone—including themselves—and its maniac war on drugs, it reminds me of something . . ."

Then I saw A Scanner Darkly. Beautiful movie, both visually and story wise. Also some really great actors in it. Incredibly unique. Definitely worth a watch."

I think Philip K. Dick is probably the most prolific novel to movie screen around. His stories are both entertaining and they make you think."
