"Whether you will like this movie really boils down to your feelings of the TV show, because it was really just a longer version of the TV show without the cliffhanger. All the same characters were there, but this time with the super villains teaming up to kidnap and ransom the fictional version of the United Nations security council. The movie was filmed during the summer hiatus of the TV series. It had the same campy, cheesy factor that the show had, and while the actors played it straight you can tell everyone's tongues were planted firmly in their cheeks. The highlights of the movie that everyone likely remembers is the very cheesy fake shark, and the shark repellant, the bomb gag, and Lee Meriwether filling out the Catwoman suit quite nicely."

"When my grandma and I watched the new Batman movies, I asked her "which Batman movie is her most favorite". She replied with a grin on her face "Batman The Movie, the one with Adam West!". I was perplexed and ask her "Why?". She said " Today's Batman movies are too dark, sad, angry, loud and brooding. I prefer the older one because it's fun and exciting". I can't disagree with that retort."

"Michael Keaton as batman.....what's not to love. The movie is a little campy. But we are talking about batman. I grew up watching the batman series and the series was a lot campy. The movie wouldn't be authentic if it wasn't campy. Having said that, this movie has an all-star cast. And it was well worth watching Jack Nicholson as the joker. You will not be disappointed in this adaptation."
