"At almost 15 years old, this movie is still a classic. It started the zombie trend with a dramatic way and spawned several games and other spin-offs such as Dead Rising and Shawn of the Dead. I didn't know it was a remake, but even so, the effects were well-done without being cheesy. Really a must watch for any zombie lover."

"The original 1978 version is better than the remake here. It is a classic zombie movie nonetheless. It will keep you watching with one eye open, wondering if you will survive the onslaught of zombies. If you like gore, you'll like this."
