"This is a classic movie that should be seen by every human on planet Earth. The storyline is amazing and the CG is amazing. It still blows my mind everytime I see how far movies have come in the last 50 years. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a staple in my movie collection and should be in yours as well. I am sure most of you have seen it, but for those who haven't, you are robbing yourself of excellence."

"Andy Serkis has played an important acting and motion capture role in many modern films. This is a great pick from among them. This is not his best known role, which is likely Gollum in the Lord of the Rings films, but this is also a great pick. It's a good performance from Serkis, but also a widely appealing film as well."

"Following the events of the Planet of the Apes, the world hangs in the balance. The human race, or what's left of humanity, struggles to survive after being hit with a deadly virus. The film features Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, and Gary Oldman, so there is no lack of powerful acting."

"Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a great move, although not much like Hunger Games. It is a live-action action movie with very little gore and sexuality, which makes it perfect for family movie night. "
